Crisis Daycare?

Someone was saying something that someone came to speak to them about a crisis nursery that runs off funds and grants. I would love to do something like that it would give me a purpose! So where do I even start with this? I mean wondering if I would do it in my own house or where I could do it when the time comes right. I want to make a difference in this world!
